Faculty and Staff, we need your help with commencement. Sign up to volunteer!

    All faculty marshals and faculty escorts must wear regalia to participate in commencement. The OSU Beaver Store is now accepting faculty regalia orders. To place your order go to http://osubeaverstore.com/faculty/regalia/. Your order must be placed by April 15, 2020. The bookstore is able to accept index numbers for department charges on regalia rentals with budget authority approval. Email Faculty.Regalia@osubeaverstore.com with any questions.

    Many faculty members will be participating in both commencement (June) and new student convocation (September), please let the bookstore know at the time of your order if you will be renting your regalia for both events and returning the regalia in late September after convocation.

     

    Faculty Escorts
    Escorts must be dressed in academic regalia. Accompanies doctoral candidates to the ceremony and hoods the candidates. The Graduate School and will confirm your participation. For questions, contact Julie Kurtz (julie.kurtz@oregonstate.edu).

     

    Faculty Representatives 
    Faculty must be dressed in academic regalia. Participate in the processional across campus and into Reser Stadium where they will be seated as a group for the ceremony. To attend as a Faculty Representative, please register ONLINE with your ONID ID. We will confirm all faculty representatives after June 4.

    Faculty Marshal
    Marshals must be dressed in academic regalia. Responsible for lining up graduates in their correct location for the procession, seating at the stadium and for diploma distribution. Graduate Marshal training takes place on May 8th from 2-4 p.m. and Undergraduate Marshal training takes place on June 4th from 2-4 p.m. Please contact Marion Rossi, Chief Marshal for additional information at mrossi@oregonstate.edu.

     

    Guest Services Volunteer
    Faculty, staff and community members can volunteer to greet guests, distribute programs, etc. We need many volunteers in this capacity as well.  Please sign up ONLINE to volunteer.
