The 2023 Commencement Ceremony takes place on Saturday, June 17 at Reser Stadium.
The Oregon State University Commencement Ceremony is a rain or shine event. Although umbrellas are not permitted in Reser Stadium, sun visors or rain ponchos are suggested. Sunscreen is recommended. Ponchos will be available for purchase at the Beaver Store located inside Reser Stadium.
Oregon State University is 100% tobacco-free, prohibiting smoking and all forms of tobacco use on all university-owned or controlled property. This Tobacco-Free Policy reflects OSU's commitment to promoting health learning and work environments for all students, academic appointees, staff and visitors. Smoking and vaping of any kind is prohibited at Reser Stadium.
The First Aid Station is located on the main concourse near Section 119 in Reser Stadium.
A stroller check will be available near the First Aid Station near Section 119 and in the Stadium Club on the upper level of the East Stadium. Strollers will not be allowed in the stadium seating area.
Concession booths and Dutch Bros Coffee will be open and available in the concourse. The OSU Bookstore booth in the concourse and the OSU Bookstore across the street will both be open during the ceremony. ATMs are located in the bookstore entry area and under the portico on the North side of the Alumni center.
The Information Booth located outside the gates will be staffed to answer questions and offer assistance. Volunteers in orange shirts are available to answer questions and offer assistance.
In order to provide the safest campus experience possible, Oregon State University continues to employ security measures designed to reduce risks and prevent incidents. All graduates and guests attending Commencement must adhere to Reser Stadium's Clear Bag Policy. All guests will enter Reser Stadium through a security checkpoint in which all bags, strollers, wheelchairs and persons will be checked. Guests are encourages to arrive early to allow additional time when entering the stadium.
